Core Themes & Sub Portals
The DiCRA platform is structured around core domains that demonstrate its capabilities in aiding data-driven decision-making and targeted utility. The current selection of core domains is outlined below, with plans to incorporate more in the future.
Geospatial
The broader geospatial portal offers more than 30+ data layers spanning environmental, vegetation, crop-specific, socio-economic, and many other sub-themes — including both the latest data at 1-kilometre resolution and 5-year historic data and trends.
Livestock
Designed for the animal husbandry sector, this portal delivers critical insights into cattle heat indices and comprehensive district-level livestock statistics to mitigate climate-related stress on animals.
Yield Estimation
In collaboration with PMFBY, the platform features a yield-estimation module that provides multi-season data for various crops at the village level, enhancing the accuracy of production forecasts and insurance assessments.
Weather
This module offers real-time visualization of IMD weather forecast data alongside their agro-advisories. It also integrates IMD and CAP alerts to support emergency preparedness.
Climate Dashboard
This dashboard provides district-level vulnerability risk assessments across nine distinct physical climate perils, allowing for targeted adaptation strategies, along with the generation of climate risk profiles at the district level.
PLP Chatbot
A decision-support platform provided through a specialized AI chatbot designed exclusively for authorized NABARD personnel to navigate and extract insights from their Potential Linked Credit Plans.
Data Catalogue
The Spatio-Temporal Asset Catalog (STAC) ensures technical transparency and accessibility by providing a standardized protocol for API access and raw geospatial data downloads across all DiCRA portals.
The next section provides detailed information on the functionalities of each of these portals and how to use them.
